We got to the hospital at 4 this morning. We got a bed around 5 or 5:30. Got situated around 6 and now we're just waiting. I hear Makayla's heartbeat and I can watch Courtney's contractions come and go. Last night I only got about an hour of sleep. From like 1 to 2 or so.
This is the point of no return and it's really, really scary. I'm going to have my baby tonight. Scary as hell, right? Me, father? lol.
Okay. I don't want to spend too much time on the computer because I want to spend it with Courtney.. just have some "quiet time" right now. I can't believe this is happening!

Hi Mark and Courtney! Congratulations! Our vote is that you should name her Makayla Hendrix Malta. Today would have been Jimi's 65th, had he survived his excesses. It's distinctive & would make her stand out from the crowd. It also would make a great monogram: MHM. Anyway, congrats again and enjoy all that's coming!
